Integrated Statistics is looking for three Biological Laboratory Assistants to work in support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) located in Milford, CT. There are three separate projects in: Analytical Chemistry, Flow Cytometry, and Microbiology. Please scroll down as the jobs are listed alphabetically. Your application will be considered for all. The positions are all full-time, with an expected duration of 4-6 months, the rate of pay for all of them is $21-22/hr, and they are eligible for the benefits described on the Integrated Statistics website.

Analytical Chemistry: analysis of archived oyster soft tissues and shells for carbon and nitrogen contents.

Flow Cytometry: provide assistance with two flow-cytometric applications for a project on Kelp meiospore sorting and oyster cell analysis by flow-cytometry.

Microbiology:provide assistance with experiments to refine the relationship between in vivo fluorescence of phytoplankton suspensions and true chlorophyll a concentration in lab and field settings.
