Integrated Statistics is looking for a Part Time Oracle Programmer to work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. The Programmer will assist the AMAPPS Sea Turtle Ecology Program, which investigates the behavior and distribution of sea turtles in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean.
- Database management – Maintain complex relational Oracle database, including entering new data. Perform data quality control checks. Query data to address ongoing sea turtle ecology needs. Knowledge of spatial databases and queries or willingness to learn and migrate existing location data into spatial data types is preferred.
- Image and Video librarian – Establish and implement a system for tracking and easily retrieving thousands of images and video files.
The position is part-time and runs through March 2, 2020. The rate of pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
