Integrated Statistics is looking for a Temporary Event Planner to assist with the planning, logistics, and management of a symposium to be held June 27-29, 2019.

The planner will work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Academic and Educational Programs Office (AEPO) in Woods Hole, MA, assisting in organizing and managing the symposium, which is being held in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP). The symposium will be co-hosted by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center and its partner institutions in the Woods Hole Diversity Initiative (DI), and will involve as many as 100 participants from programs and institutions around the country. The symposium will include workshops, panels, plenary lectures, and Homecoming events for PEP alumni. The symposium will be held at auditoriums and meetings spaces in a variety of Woods Hole institutions. The Coordinator will also assist with the DI’s Homecoming observance that welcomes PEP alumni back to Woods Hole.
 
Specific Tasks

Minimum Experience

The rate of pay will be $18/hr. The position's workload is planned in three phases:

  1. April 1 - May 26, 10 hrs/wk
  2. May 27 - June 16, 20 hrs/wk
  3. June 17 - July 5, 40 hrs/wk
